Today, Bigben Interactive, the video game publisher and distributor, and the studio Frogwares  revealed the box art for Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter. They also announced that the adventure game is due to be released on May 27th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The Devil’s Daughter is the eighth game in the series. Bigben Interactive is promising “an incredible adventure game with unique gameplay blending investigation, action and exploration for an extraordinary experience that will test the limits of players’ nerves and intelligence. ” Players will investigate the dark corners of London in search of clues and suspects. For the first time in the series, the power of analysis of Sherlock Holmes will be shaken by emotion and his thirst for vengeance.

I was a big fan of the previous entry of the series, Crimes and Punishments. Hopefully, The Devil’s Daughter builds on what that game did so well. Keep an eye out for a review of this closer to launch.
