Today, Digital Tentacle announced Hypnos: Sons of October: an action-adventure game set in a dystopian Cold War.

You play as an American Astronaut who has crashed onto a Soviet Base on a distant, frozen planet. As you progress, dreamlike sequences fuse with reality and you no longer know who you are, what is real or who you’re working for. You are tasked with programming the systems of the facility to survive.

Digital Tentacle is promising a “strong emphasis in mood and atmosphere.” The use of a VR headset will be optional to heighten these even further.

Hypnos: Sons of October is on track be released on Steam, Xbox One, and PS4 in Q4 2016.
