On July 17th, Titan Comics is releasing Blade Runner 2019 #1, the first comic to tell new stories in the Blade Runner universe.
Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049, Logan, American Gods) and longtime co-writer Mike Johnson (Batman/Superman, Supergirl, Star Trek) are handling the writing duties while Andres Guinaldo ((Justice League Dark, Captain America) is handling the interior art duties as well as providing one of the variant covers for issue #1. Artgerm Lau, John Royle and Syd Mead, who was an original Blade Runner movie concept artist, have all sketched covers for the first issue of the series as well.
In the neo-noir city of Los Angeles, 2019, Ash, a veteran Blade Runner, is grappling with a new case: a billionaire’s wife and child, apparently kidnapped by Replicants for dark purposes…
Below we have all #1 covers (really digging how all these look) as well as the first 6 pages of interior art. There is also a video trailer for the release as well. If you’re going to be at San Diego Comic Con, you can also get your hands on a copy of Blade Runner 2019 #1 at the Titan Comics booth.
