On this week’s episode we discuss some of the newest games out there. First up are two Kickstarter hits, one good and one bad, in Thimbleweed Park and Yooka-Laylee. However they both pale in comparison to the juggernaut that is Persona 5. Both Addam and Kyle have been playing and have plenty of great things to say about it. We also touch on some other news bits like the announcement of Destiny 2 and the released specs of Microsoft’s Project Scorpio.

This is an interesting perspective on the Kickstarter discussion because its all the Kickstarters I didn’t pay much attention to. PC RPG’s are where its at: Wasteland 2, Torment, Divinity I and II, all the Shadowruns. Most of them brought in 1-3 million too and were the original record holders until things like Shenmue 3 and Blood Stained hit. Yooka Laylee brought in less than Pillars of Eternity which was also good if you like CRPG’s.
