It’s not very common that we have a new console launch to celebrate so it’s certainly a joy to be talking about a new one. Few console launches have been as interesting as the Nintendo Switch with unique hardware, a paltry launch lineup and a certifiable GOTY contender all to discuss. Before we dive too hard into the Switch we do discuss Guerrilla Game’s great Horizon Zero Dawn, a game that unfortunately gets overshadowed by Zelda both in practice and in our conversation this week. After that we talk about the Nintendo Switch itself and the many games we have been playing for the new console.

I played a bit of Breath of the Wild but stopped because I know I won’t finish it before Mass Effect. Gonna finish it after and then get Horizon after that.
