Outlast is probably the scariest game I’ve ever played.

Wait, scratch that. The original Outlast is definitely the scariest game I’ve ever played. I’ve never loved and hated something so much at the same time.

Developer Red Barrels has released a new trailer for the upcoming sequel that focuses on a chase through a cornfield. As if Outlast wasn’t already scary enough, it looks like Red Barrels is ramping up the creepiness factor by having Outlast 2 take place on some sort of abandoned farmhouse.

Outlast 2 is scheduled for release Fall 2016 on Mac, PC, PS4, Xbox One.
