Ever since it was announced that Martin Freeman would be joining the MCU, many have wondered who the actor, who is recognizable to most as Bilbo, Dr. Watson or Tim from The Office, would be playing. Empire has revealed that Freeman will be playing a role that will probably feature prominently in Black Panther’s solo outing as well; that being one Everett Ross.

In Marvel Comics, Ross is traditionally a United States GMAN assigned to T’Challa, otherwise known as Black Panther, from Wakanda. Since Civil War is the first time movie goers will see Black Panther in action, it makes sense that Ross will be around as well with Black Panther’s solo movie set to release in 2018.
