Earlier today at an event in Japan, Capcom announced that they are doing a remastered version of Resident Evil 0, the prequel to the original Resident Evil game that first released on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2002.

The announcement was made via a video featuring a message from Director Koji Oda and Producer Tsukasa Takenaka. The remastered version is  planned for release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in early 2016.
