Our favorite party game maker, Jackbox Games, has taken to Kickstarter to fund a new game called Quiplash.

Here’s their description:

The game is super-simple. Use your phone or tablet to answer simple prompts like “Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do” or “A good catchphrase to yell every time you finish pooping.” Your answer will then be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head clash of cleverness and comedy – or maybe just a battle of “Which answer is least stupid?” Other players – and even an audience of people waiting to get in the next game – then vote for their favorite answer. That’s right, in Quiplash, if you have viewers or extra players who can’t fit in the 8-player game, they can still participate by voting and actually affect the outcome!

Their goal for funding is $15,000. If successful, Quiplash is expected to release on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and PC this June. If you’re one of the first 500 backers, you can select an early bird $8 download for the game on your preferred platform. Donations of $35 will get you a download code for The You Don’t Know Jack Classic Pack as well. Donations of $40 or more will also come with a download code for The Jackbox Party Pack. $100 will get you all that plus a listing in the credits of the game.

We loved previous Jackbox Games Fibbage and The Jackbox Party Pack. Here’s to hoping that this gets funded so we’ll have another great party game to add to the collection.
