Nintendo’s Head of Digital Content Leaves Company to Work With Indie Developers

Dan Adelman has announced that after nine years with Nintendo, he has decided to leave Nintendo of America and work with independent developers on their marketing and business development.

As Nintendo’s Head of Digital Content and Development, Adelman oversaw the launch of hundreds of games and was responsible for bringing over indie games like World of Goo, Cave Story and the Bit.Trip series to Nintendo’s consoles.

Prior to his time at Nintendo, Adelman was part of the launch team for the original Xbox and helped plan for Xbox Live and Xbox Live Arcade.

It will be interesting to see what this new chapter in the industry for him will bring. You can wish him luck on his future endeavors through his Twitter account.
