Bungie is going all out for Bungie Day this year. Not only did the developer release a new trailer for the upcoming Destiny beta but details on Destiny’s two collector’s editions were revealed as well.
The Destiny Ghost Edition will retail for $149.99 and the Destiny Limited Edition will retail for $99.99. Both will contain the following:
- Limited edition SteelBook case and game disc
- Guardian Folio:
- Arms & Armament Field Guide
- Postcards from the Golden Age
- Antique Star Chart
- Collector’s Edition Digital Content Pack
- Unique Ghost Casing
- Exclusive Player Emblem
- Exclusive Player Ship Variant
- The $34.99 Destiny Expansion Pass, which consists of Expansion 1: The Dark Below and Expansion 2: House of Wolves (which will cost $19.99 individually)
- PlayStation platforms will also include additional exclusive content for Expansion 1 and 2 and will remain exclusive until at least fall of 2015
The Ghost Edition will also include a Ghost replica and other “Golden Age Relics” like a patch, sticker and photos. The Ghost replica will include motion-activated lights and Peter Dinklage’s voice. You can’t put a price on that, people!
For those who pre-order the digital version of the Limited Edition will gain early access to the Vanguard Armory and Player Emblem pre-order bonuses as well.
Destiny is set to release on September 9, 2014 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A beta will be available to anyone who pre-orders the game on July 17-28 on PS4 and PS3 and July 23-28 on Xbox ONE and Xbox 360.
