Today Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have released the first official screenshots for their upcoming episodic game series, Tales From The Borderlands, which is set to release for download later this summer.

The screenshots reveal that Tales From The Borderlands will take place on Pandora after the events of Borderlands 2. It will feature two playable characters and will switch perspective as the story progresses. These characters include a scheming, low-level data-miner named Rhys and Fiona, a fast-talking con-artist born on Pandora and out to pull off the con of a lifetime.

Rhys and Fiona will cross paths with vault hunters like Zero as well as other characters from Borderlands 2. The story told throughout Tales will also be considered canon for the universe. Gearbox Software has also announced that the loot you grab in Tales will be available to use in other areas of the Borderlands franchise.
