Today Capcom announced that an ultimate HD edition of Resident Evil 4 for PC is coming to Steam globally and available as a retail version for Windows PC in Europe. There are promising that PC gamers will be able to experience the game “in the highest visual fidelity ever with stunning HD running at a smooth 60 frames per second for the first time.” It will be available on February 28, 2014 for $19.99/€19.99.

A Steam pre-order campaign started has begun today. Those interested can pre-order the game and receive the digital soundtrack with more than 60 tracks and a digital artbook. Details can be found here.

This version of Resident Evil 4 will include Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards, global leaderboards and full game controller support. It will include everything from prior iterations of the game as well as previously released bonus content like the “Separate Ways” epilogue.
