Nintendo will be offering the full downloadable version of Wii Fit U to all Wii U owners beginning on November 1. This downloadable version of the game will allow players to try out all 77 of the game’s activities for a full month. All you need to take part of this special offer is a broadband connection and a Wii Balance Board. Players can decide to keep their copy of the game by purchasing and syncing a Fit Meter which will be available November 1 in black/silver at a suggested retail price of $19.99.
“Wii Fit U is all about ‘fun fitness’ for everyone in the family,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president and COO. “With this special offer, Nintendo is making it easier than ever for families to get active and stay active, making now the perfect time to upgrade to Wii U. This is another example of the kind of value and variety that only Nintendo can offer.”
This special trial version of Wii Fit U will be downloadable from the Nintendo eShop between November 1, 2013, and January 31, 2014, and will work for a month from the day it is first played. For those who don’t decide to jump on this special offer, Wii Fit U launches both as a packaged game on December 13, 2013, and as a full game download in the Nintendo eShop on February 1, 2014.
