Rovio has released its first “Join the Pork Side” video for Angry Birds: Star Wars 2. Ian McDiarmid, the voice of Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars films, lends his voice for the evil green porker.

Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 will feature over 30 characters inspired by the Star Wars universe. The game will launch September 19 on iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8 for 99 cents. A free, ad-supported version is also planned for Android.
