Sega has announced that multiplayer brawler Anarchy Reigns will launch on January 8, 2013 in the US and January 11, 2013 in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Developed by Platinum Games, Anarchy Reigns will feature some of the developer’s most famous characters like Bayonetta and Jack Cayman from Madworld in a variety of multiplayer modes.

“Sega are hugely proud of the work Platinum Games has put in to creating a video game with such a unique and engaging vision” commented Jurgen Post, COO of SEGA Europe Ltd. “Gamers will soon be able to experience the full adrenaline rush that comes from competing in the explosive multiplayer matches of Anarchy Reigns.”

It’s also worth pointing out that Anarchy Reigns will have a suggested retail price of £19.99/€29.99/$29.99.
