EA and Bioware have announced that a bundle of all three Mass Effect games is set to release on November 6 for the Xbox 360 and PC with a later release set for the PS3. The bundle will retail for $59.99 and will be called the Mass Effect Trilogy.
When the bundle makes its way to PS3, this will be the first time that the original Mass Effect will be available on the system. A downloadable version of the original Mass Effect will also be available over PSN.
It is also worth pointing out that the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 will be the same price when it launches eleven days later. No word if the Mass Effect Trilogy will eventually make its way to Nintendo’s new platform. I would assume it eventually would but the pricing strategy seems strange. But then, its EA. So there you go. There has been no word if the DLC from each game will also be part of the bundle.
EA also announced N7 Day, a “worldwide celebration of the Mass Effect franchise” that of course takes place on November 7. The celebration will be made up of a variety of in-game, online and live events. Stay tuned to http://MassEffect.com for updates and announcements on that.
Great… this is what you meant… yup, I’ll be pre-ordering this bad boy…
